This 2300 hectare (5680 acres +/-) farm and ranch is located in the province of Salta, in northern Argentina. Widely known as one of the most beautiful and scenic provinces in the country. The property is located 80km south of the capital city of Salta and 100km north of the town of Cafayate (one of the premier wine producing regions in Argentina). The property sets in a fertile valley between 2 beautiful mountain ranges. It is also located within 4km of one of the largest bodies of water in the province, lake “Cabra Corral”.

The property has 700 hectares cleared with the remainder in its natural form. The property is permitted to clear an additional 1000 hectares. Of the 700 hectares cleared there are 300 acres in cultivation. Past and current farming has produced alfalfa, tobacco, chilly quinoa, anise along with other specialty crops. There are 2 large barns that were used in the past for drying tobacco. There are a number of earthen dams located on the property to insure irrigation of the crops.

The property comes with a cow herd of approximately 400 mother cows along with bulls and 18 horses. All farming and livestock equipment will convey with the property.

The main residence is a beautiful Spanish style home consisting of 5 bedrooms, kitchen, dining and a large living area. From the covered patio you can view the mountains to the east and lake “Cabra Corral”. There are an additional 4 houses located on the property along with other barns and equipment sheds.

The current owners have done a preliminary study into the possibility of developing a portion of the property into a solar farm. The study looks positive due to the abundance of sunlight hours along with the close proximity to transmission lines. Another possibility would be the development of tourism as the property has an old train station from years past along with its proximity to the mountains and lake.
